Combines the efficiency of the SPD® system and the convenience of a
platform pedal.
Adjustable cleat tension for each rider preference.
A sealed mechanism and serviceable cup & cone bearings.I also call these a Half and Half Pedal.
These are a great town bike pedal. They ride well with regular street shoes and also work well with
Clipless shoes. I like the balance of the pedal. It is very easy use with clipless shoes.
If you pedal hard for your first stroke the clipless mechanism will rotate out.
Otherwise the flat for regular shoes presents itself.
I have them on one of my town bikes and like them alot.
Negatives
They do not have a good lean angle with the clipless shoes mounted. I do not like this pedal for Mountain biking
because I end up clipping more rocks with my pedals with the lower ground clearance.
